For a traditional 1/2 ton pickup truck, with more than just the traditional features, check out the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. The truck experts at Gainesville Buick GMC know trucks and vans, whether for work or play, and they know how to get you the best possible deal. Plus our showroom is easy to get to from Newberry, Lake City, Ocala, and Palatka, FL right here in Gainesville, FL.
For 2015, Toyota simplified the Tundra lineup, and now there are fewer configurations to choose from, unlike what GMC offers with the Sierra 1500.
The GMC Sierra comes in regular cab with regular or long bed, extended cab with regular bed, and crew cab with short or regular bed. The Tundra only offers the regular cab with a long bed, and the Tundra Super Crew only comes in a short bed size.
GMC offers Sierra 1500 buyers the choice of a V6 or two sizes of V8, all direct injected for power and economy. Toyota offers you the choice of two sizes of V8, but both are outclassed by the GMC. The base 4.3-liter V6 puts out 285hp, and is EPA rated at 18 city/24 highway mpg, beating the best the Tundra can do with 16/19. Only the Sierra 1500 offers the option of a 6.2-liter V6 and 8-speed automatic, too.
If you look at the available tech options you really see how new the Sierra 1500 is. Only GMC offers the vibrating safety alert seat, with lane departure, forward collision, and other monitors. You can also get automated parking assistance on the Sierra 1500. Plus most Sierra 1500s come with OnStar including a Wi-Fi hotspot, so you can stream Pandora, or use other smartphone apps directly through the truck’s touchscreen interface.
GMC has always been known for trucks that were a little bit better than the competition, and it is as true of the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 as it ever was. Come down to Gainesville Buick GMC and take your soon-to-be new truck for a test drive.View Inventory
